music love
I just got this wonderful book.At the beginning of the month I splurged on this book.In my defense, I lost a bunch of books in our move, which were weather-damaged in our storage shed. And I actually play some of a ragas on my gitar. in studying prep. music was one of my favourite subject, I bought my sitar in the year 1971, once broken by our maid servent ,I got it repaired from Delhi itself. In later years repaires were done in Hisar itself. Here is a story about the repairman /technician Sitar/other musical instruments, as told by that Bangali singale man of very tall and slim body structure. The Principal of FC College,Hisar Ms Janki Chopra made him to come to Hisar as, there was not any technitian for Music instruments in Hisar, seeing the potential he came here and stayed till his last.
About the book:in this book secrets of the Raagas (Raag Sorathdesa, Raag Jaijaiwanti, Raag Jogiya, Raag Bhairav , Raag Chandrakauns, Raag Kamod, Raag Charukesi, Raag Ramkali, Raag Malkauns ,Raag Puriyadhanashri, aag Gaur Sarang, Raag Bageshree, Raag Patdip, Raag Basant, Raag Mand ,Raag Megh, Raags Shuddha sarang and Brindavani sarang , Raag Bhatiyar, Raag Jhinjhoti , Raag Bhairavi) were unveiled by the author. In returns with vivid images and esoteric personifications of Bhairavi, Kamod, Charukesi, Basant and many others, each with its own magical story to tell. I read about the book from Inner voice.
