Oh now look at it!

I had a white lace shawl which I crocheted with three ply wool ( don’t know the brand I bought it in skein ….

This is it!

My adorable Shawl rests on chair! Or chair is modeling the shawl!

ts approximately 2-3 years that my lacy shawl needs replacement…it’s old know, I am trying to make a new shawl, and haven’t had any new design featured yet to replace it: (I need more inspiration…..

I started a shawl with little bit alterations for the older one, but two three time after 2-skeins yarn I realized I didn't like it. I ripped and changed part of design…..then I received an e-mail for a party wear submission for coming pink-winters by the magazine WE, so I desired to submit it. It’s a simple mesh shawl which just resembles my previous shawl ( my friends used to say what gorgeous crochet shawl ever seen! All of them admire to this great-looking lace- shawl, you are looking unique with shawl) I think…..its too much admirations! But it’s not so soft and fluffy in-spite of lacy make …….any how hopefully it gets accepted so I can make it using unwoven three-ply little bit whitish wool yarn

Its patter is very simple to fallow….and I wanted to share with you just now:

Cast on 107 stitches i.e. odd number of stitches and needle size 4. I used for three-ply unwoven or untwisted yarn. Any how exact gauge is not important, you can choose your yarn and needles and swatch test them so that the fabric should be light and airy, not tight and stiff.

Row 1 and 2: all knit

Row 3: *K2 tog, yo, rep from* across; end k1.

Row 4: K1, * K2 tog, yo, rep from * to end of row.

Row 5 and 6: knit to end of row.

Repeat Row3 to 5 for whole shawl.

Knit last two Rows ,like 1 and 2 rows,

Bind off loosely, and use crochet for edgings as described here:

Make 1single crochet (SC) on each stitch on the narrow edge…in all make 107 dc, chain one turn over and make SC on SC, I did 8 rows each on the both of the narrow edges of the shawl.

For long edges, work one row each with single crochets of equal counts on both edges and completion start for edgings:

Join from the first SC into the first foundation SC stitch you made on the long side of the edge, skip to SC, stitch Five double crochet(dc) into the next SC , skip two SC, stitch a SC into the next SC , stitch five dc into next SC repeat for entire row.

Repeat the same stitches for the edgings of second long edge I,e, the length of the shawl.

That’s all for now. Don’t’ be impatient!

For the beautiful fringes on the width of the shall I will explain later on.

Happy day!
