Did some mending to reduce my carbon-footprints!

last month due to some great hit at its rim, a part of the bucket's rim broken out

see the picture below broken part at the rim and the piece that came out, lying on the floor...

i poked some holes on the bucket's rim as well as on the torn out bucket piece, with hot sewing needles holding it on fire with protected gloves on my hand....

procured a sewing cotton thread and some glue/adhesive and saturated the thread with that glue, keep aside for a while to dry, then threaded this saturated piece of cotton thread into a sewing needle. stitched the piece of bucket from where it was separated.
then rubbed some glue on both the sides of stitches and keep aside for 24 hours.

see the pictures above , the bucket is as sturdy as new...one...

by doing this i reduced my carbon footprints a bit!
isn't sustainable!
