I have a plastic box full of appliqué shapes that I made years back but haven’t used yet, intermediate steps that ended up very different by the end of the project.

Eco friendly small basket....

I made this with my chunni torned yarn with crochet hook.

I crocheted it in two hours time in one sitting only, while crocheting in living room i heard some chirping noise and stared outside mesh door, there was a little sparrow chirping around on the floor and hearting her beak on floor. I thought “what she is picking” I spread some grains….and didn’t notice about the food, served for her.

Any how I placed the eco-basket on the cooler, filled with grains, thought to photograph the sparrow, but it didn’t happen.

Next day again I was sitting in my living room, the s sparrow was there then I noticed she was picking jute-pieces from the door mat placed in front door.

Any how my ecofriendly project( recycled and upcycled) ended up!
