Yellow Shrug Started!

I Purchased baroque Yarn last some months ago..

Without much ado.... i state and

I know I was going to wait as with several projects side by side……I only crocheted a few flowers after making several swatches for the shrug. The baroque yarn with yellow colour and 100% cotton is lovely to work with. The oly thing I’m not happy with is that the joining in the round flowers leaves holes. The flower itself is made up with holes.

My niece made a blocker out of cardboard spools for these flowers as soon as I finish one flower she inserted it into the blocker. I think she is doing a great job, her worries for the best shrug…..authentic …..i promised her it’s for her only. Previously I made her a green shrug……that was grabbed by her elder sis……no she happily handed over to her lovely sis…… the are in very lovely terms…

to start with the rounds of yarn around my the tips of my little finger( seven times) i made the ring ....
see in the picture the starting ring is 7 threads in bulk and of the size of my little finger's circumference....
here the 4 rounds of crochet flowers are up with the yarn and hook...
as described above in this post some of the crocheted flowers ...blocked into sewing threads with spools....
flower with three rounds....
the complete flower ready to be blocked with fallow ...flowers..
i will furnish the complete the tutorial of making the flower the base of the shrug.
Happy crocheting!
