Zero landfill!

i was intended to do a photo-shoot on monkeys on my front gate
i succeeded in one shoot from room ...behind the mesh door....
they are enjoying delicate tips of tree shoots ...the big tree at my gate..

when i came out to have a snap.. ...one of them run away...
OH! i was talking about zero landfill...its here.....

The words cannot express how much I really love Zero Landfill. Sorting out the odd one dresses once after 2 or three months is now my habit, I donate the wearable stuffs to the needy, for the rest I made something useful.

I made this braided mat for kitchen out of my salwar suit. My mom helped me making braids and a little bit in sewing part of the braids too. The suit was made up from georgette fabric very cute and still graceful not had any wear appearance on it but I fed up with the all over look of the suit. The print was/ small and it was the base of the color that dominant over the little flowers. Again the matching chunni/stole used to make the suit monotonous in look.

Sooooorrrrrry! Ifor got to take picture of the dress/outfit.

Anyhow I was in need of a mat in front of cooking platform of the kitchen. It took some time to make bajraa chapaaties in the winter season; and I don’t have a nice mat to stand; no…………..i have two very beautiful ( will post the pictures of new mats in blur color ,I bought last year from Chandigarh).

But I think I will like this one a lot!

This is still the cotton harvest season...
i took this photo near my village.....while going to my village on the roadside....
i took their photo while picking cotton...
and asked them about the Ergonomic cotton picking bag we created at our University Lab and tested last year in the cotton picking season......rest will be in the next...
please comment ...i will appreciate ......all the draw backs of my creations...if any...
happy day!
