4 hour doily

Yesterday I did two things at earliest I can that I have put off put off. First I snapped my newly crocheted doily which I created in four sittings at 1 hour each sitting. I did its photo shoot at the book shelf.

In the evening I noticed that the same doily is placed under a vase(my niece did the deco in living room corner) I took another photos again...very nice-looking!!!

The other job that I’ve been putting off was writing pattern of the doily as I promised myself that i will write pattern of every project that I made so that it will help me to compile a book. What a PLEASURE it would be!!!

Any way...I started writing pattern and it took only one hour to type it on computer!!! Yes ONE HOUR ONLY!!!

So ........the lingered tasks I putting off? Tackled within a day only!!! It all needs the determination....not the hard work!! Is’t it!!!

Here is the PATTERN!!! YES !!!!IT"S MY OWN DESIGN !!!GO TRY IT !!! I F YOU WISH SO!!!!!

The pattern

Required: Boraque cotton yarn No. 10. No . 3 crochet hook

Measurements;Doily measures 10 inches in diameter.

Commence with 12 ch, join with a sl st to form a gring.

1^st row: 4 ch, 29 d tr into ring, 1 sl st into 4^th of 4 ch.

2^nd row: 1 dc into same place as sl st,* 3 ch miss ! d tr, 1 dc into next d tr; rep from * ending with 3 ch, 1 sl st into first dc. (15 loops.)

3^rd row: 1 sl st into first loop, 4 ch, leaving last loop of each on hook work 2 d tr into same loop, thread over and draw throw all loops on hook ( a 2 d tr cluster made), * 5 ch a 3 d tr cluster into next loop; rep from 8 ending with 5 ch, 1 sl st into first cluster.

4^th row: 1 sl st into each of next 3 ch, 1 dc into same loop,* 6 ch, 1 dc into next loop; rep from * ending with 6 ch, 1 sl st into first dc.

5 th row: 1 sl st into first loop, 3 ch, 5 tr into same loop, 6 tr into each loop, 1 sl st into 3^rd of 3 ch.

6^th row: 1 dc into same place as sl st, *3 ch, miss 2 tr, i dc into next tr; rep from * ending with 3 ch, 1 sl st into first dc.(30 loops.)

7^th row: 1 sl st into last loop made, 3 ch, * 1 tr into next loop, 3 ch, 1 tr into top of last tr ( a picot made), 1 tr into same loop: rep from * ending with 1 tr into same loop as first sl st, a picot,1 sl st into 3^rd of 3 ch.

8^th row: 6 ch, 1 tr into 4^th ch from hook ( another picot made), 1 tr into next tr: rep from * ending with 1 ch, 1 sl st into same ch as first picot.

9^th row: 1 sl st into last loop made, 6 ch, 1 tr into 4the ch from hook, 1 tr into same sp as sl st, * 3 ch, into next 1 ch sp work 1 tr, a picot and 1 tr; rep from* ending with 1 ch, 1 tr into same ch as first picot.

10^th row: sl st in the center of picot of previous row,* ch 6, sl st on next picot center; rep from * ending with sl st on last picot.

11^th row: ch 3 for 1 tr in the 6 ch space, ch 2 2 tr in same space,*2 tr 2 ch 2 tr into next 6 ch space: rep from* ending with sl st on 3^rd ch of first tr.

12^th row: 3 ch into 2 ch space of previous row 1 tr 3 ch 2 tr in same space, *ch 3, 1 sl st into next 2 ch space ch 3, 2 tr ch 3 and 2 tr in next 2 ch space: repeat from* ending with sl st on 3^rd ch of 1st tr.

13^th row; ch 2 sl st into 3 ch space, 3 d tr into next sl st ch 3, 3 d tr into same space sl st into next 3 ch space,* 3 d tr 3 ch 3 d tr into next 3 ch sp sl st into next space; repeat from * ending sl st on 3^rd ch of 1^st d tr.

14^th row: ch 3 sl st into 3 ch space 4 d tr into next 3 ch space ch 3 4 d tr into same space,* 4 d tr 3 ch 4 d tr into next 3 ch space ending with 3^rd ch on 1^st d tr. Fasten off and weave in the ends.

Place it at the center of the table
