With all the scrap used and I’ve made this from the previous several years scraps, again for a long i never sewed any dress of mine and nobody els’s in my family. I’m rapidly running out of scraps: a good excuse to go fabric shopping.
Fabric scrap quilt....Then i did a lot of shopping yesterday...
So I know I haven’t posted about sewing in a really long time, so it’s sort of lame to just drop in a short post-for sewing or fabric......., but I just wanted to share the pictures of all the gorgeous fabric I bought this weekend! The Famous Fabric Depot behind our house had a 35% off sale, so I took advantage and stocked up for a new stash I will be creating now.
It’s kind of a weird color palette for me, but I think I can make it work. More photos to come as sewing commences!
This is for my niece who is about to go to another university. She wanted all blues, but I hope it doesn’t give him the blues!
Blue it may be but exuberant – she couldn’t possibly get the blues from this one.I really love the colours and warmth of this fabric..
