Yes i think these are japan's crochet flower
Last week I crocheted the wall hanging shown here......with continuously focused on it.... didn't' took anything crafty or my leisure activity when i took this very project in my hand .it remained WIP till it finished and hang over it...the inspiration came from here and pattern is from here and its a written pattern.but as per my my habit of putting my own style ............i made it using trash...and junks objects...the pattern writing will take some time....
the third flower find its back on the ivory tiles.......mounted on wall due to dampness in the wall....

in the line of creating my stash for embroidery work...
i purchased...the fallowing floss, Ada in pink and coarse heavy weight cloth......
i will fallow THIS for my indulgence in embroidery.
