By using rings you recycle from bottles, you
can save yourself money on crafting supplies as you have no need to create
circle with yarn. Not only can these rings be used for flowers of wall
hangings, they also b used on pot holders, wreaths and other crafting projects
that call for a circle for base…….
I crocheted the center of this wall hanging by
using recycled rings from plastic water bottles.
Here is the wall hanging with circles for doors.
I had collected up a small amount of rings off of plastic bottles and I wanted
to use them somehow. These rings have plastic tabs inside, if you run an exact
– o around the inside it should come off very easily.

Round
1: Attach the yarn to the circle with a Slip Stitch
Chain
1, this counts as your first Single crochet stitch. (If you are using a stitch
marker, this chain is where you would stick it.)
Begin
working Single crochet stitches into the circle /ring.
Continue
with the Single crochet stitch around the circle. Work 23Single crochet.
Including your beginning chain, this makes 24 stitches (sc).
As
you go, slide your stitches close together so there are no gaps where the
circle shows through. Adjust the top of your stitches to the outside of the
circle as you work.
Once
you have your 24 sc, join the round with a Slip stitch into your first chain.
