My crochet doily dreamcatcherIs very cool.

Once I stumbled upon a doily catcher and i was so impressed with that doily dreamcatcher that I’ve been wanting to make a dreamcatcher using the doily I made,,,,,,,,.Because my round trim piece(hoop) was wrapped with the thread left after making the doily ( click her to see the circles with that thread on it)  i made it has a silver thread running through and it is variegated silk thread with pinkish shades and white mixed. Also I go through internet and found dreamcatcher are 70’s-esque and what they symbolize Is very cool.

How i created this:
I assembled the doily and the wrapped circle and found that the edgings are overlapping the frame when I put it on the circle, it look complicated to tie it within the circle starched perfectly,

I put the doily over the centre of the circle, and tie four picots using the same thread      ( after used in doily making and wrapping the hoop there was still some thread left on the reel) i used for doily and wrapping the hoop. Then I stretched the rest of the doily using the 4 strings jointly.
Finally after adjusting I double-knotted each tie, and left the tails long, somewhere I made the bow with the bunch of thread.

Then i made three equal sized strings(untwisted)using 4 threads each and string some beads(lying with me for long) on both the corners of hte each string,
At last i tied them at three places  using macramé knot. This project of mine great because i used all the things lying with me . i made 5 of them all are unique and i loved making them.

Happy crafting
