see the bag with beads

Black beads embedded white crochet bag

The picture taken recently ….calculate how old it is, while resting on chair to be photographed?

I made the white macramé wire (plastic two-ply twisted yarn) for myself. I made three ditto copies of this bag one for my cousin (my maternal uncle’s daughter) my aunt, another for her aunt. These days both of them are in USA, and one for me. After the completion of my BSc in Home Science in the year 1978, I became mom for my son (I did my BSc after birth of my precious daughter). I was on job at home for 24/7 to rear my children, from 1978 to 1981. I completed several project and these bags were out of my 10 bag mission products. This one is still with me, it rests in my cupboard for some years, then I dig out for some time this hide and seek move is still on, god knows how much life span this bag would have in store!

See the long shoulder straps embellished with black beads are very cute! Isn’t it!

It’s crocheted along with both side gussets, see the picture above.

Two black coloured rivets on the flaps were done from the expert in the market.

I lined the bag with white glazed fabric, two layers of it and sandwiched padding in between, both sides of lining are right sides. It’s perfect for so many reasons: due to loose weave of treble stitch makes something mash like texture of the bag and also, the embellished with beads made something to look inside, and it was the right decision.

I made pockets with zips on both the inner sides in the lining, see the pictures above and below.

the bag is fully opened due to flap opening, it can accommodate books with small purse while going to library, and small purchases at general store.

My nice modeled the bag for me the photographs are courtesy of my nice, she promised to make the bag with the help of pictures without my instructions and pattern.

Not difficult anybody with little crochet skills and little bit sewing knowledge can make it with the help of all the pictures above even number of trebles and rounds can be calculated with staring at the pictures.

There is one problem with the bag!

I will appreciate, if anybody with intelligence can trace out one!

I will make a post with -tive points with the bag!

Again I will post the instructions with diagrams and details for the bag in my forthcoming posts.

Enjooooyyyyyy!

&

Make one with the yarn and beads of your choice!

Have a good day!
