Zunk Deco!

on this dipaavali i did some junk decor
i walk my carbon-foot-prints with this junk glass bottle
this is the dress i made for this glass bottle...
i spent some time to write the pattern for the readers......
fallow the pattern ....and dress up your bottle too...

isn't it adorable....

The pattern for glass bottle dress.

To start the ring of the bottle dress

I wrapped orange yarn around the tip of my ring-finger 7 times,

Slip stitch into the circle/ring, 2 chains, it makes the first treble in the circle, 17 trebles in the ring

18 trebles in the ring, join with slip stitch on top of the ist 2 chains, it makes the base of the bottle dress. It is upside down (the circumference should be approximately the size of the mouth (cap) of the bottle. If not, add another row increasing I treble after every other stitch.

2^nd to 4^th round----As the base round, join the round with slip stitch in 1^st stitch --- 18 trebles.

5^th round --- *Chain 15 skip one stitch slip stitches into next 2 stitches,* Repeat to end, join with slip stitch in first stitch---9 loops. Fasten off as the loops are very long, the next round will be with the same yarn.

6^th round---Join with slip stitch with same orange yarn, in the center of any of the loop, chain 2 for treble 2 more treble in the center, three trebles in next loop, work all around in the same way----28 trebles, join with slip stitch in 1^st stitch.

7^th round-------Chain 2 for 1^st treble, 1 treble in next stitch, treble in each stitch till the end--- 27 trebles, join with slip stitch in 1^st stitch.

8^th round-----Same as 7^th round fasten off.

9^th round ----Join with slip stitch in white yarn, continue as 7^th round.

10^th round----*Chain 50 skip 1 stitch, slip stitches into next 2 stitchs*, Repeat to end, join with slip stitch in first stitch- ----14 big loops in the round ----fasten off.

11^th round----Again using white yarn join any of the center of the white yarn loops, chain 2 1 treble in the centre of the loop, 2 trebles into next loop, repeat for all the loops, join with slip stitch ----28 trebles in the round.

12^th round--- Chain 2, treble in each stitch each till end join with slip stitch in first stitch —28 trebles…..this completes the dress of the bottle.

13^th round--- For casing ----chain 5, skip 1 stitch, slip stitches into next 2 stitches till the end ---14 loops for casing.

Insert yarn in three folds through the loops……and…
Pop your dress onto the bottle from the neck down- it will take some wiggling and should fit snugly once in place. Pull the yarn string and make tight knot and weave in the tails.

Make the ring of yarn as for the dress

1^st round: Chain 1, double crochet in loop formed by wrapping yarn on the tip of little finger (20 double crochets).

2^nd round: *Chain 15, slip stitches into next 2 stitches*, repeat to end, Join with slip stitch and fasten off. Weave in the yarn tail.

Insert and place the flower behind the white crocheted bars in the dress of the bottle.

This completes the deco of my junk glass bottle.

Make one for you it’s easy just some yarn and hook, chains, trebles and slip stitches and you are done.
